  • Greyhound Racing

  • Whippet Racing

  • Horse Racing

How Racing Rewards Work in 2026

All racing rewards are funded by minting and training revenue generated by players.

Category-Specific Rewards

Each racing category funds its own rewards:

  • Greyhound minting & training → Greyhound racing rewards

  • Whippet minting & training → Whippet racing rewards

  • Horse minting & training → Horse racing rewards

Revenue does not move between categories. Each racing ecosystem stands on its own.

Revenue Allocation Overview

For each racing category, minting and training revenue is allocated as follows:

  • 30% → Racing Rewards

  • 30% → Breeder Rewards

  • 40% → Protocol & Operations

Important Note (Greyhounds)

For Greyhounds, the 30% Racing Rewards allocation is in addition to Breeder Rewards.

Greyhound breeders continue to receive Breeder Rewards, Froth Breeder Rewards, and Final Breeder tournaments on top of all racing-specific prize pools.

Breeder Rewards

Breeder rewards apply across all formats and racing categories.

The following allocations are fixed for the entire 2026 season:

  • 10% → Breeder Rewards

  • 10% → Froth Breeder Rewards

  • 10% → Final Breeders

These allocations are non-negotiable and form a core pillar of the Muzzle Run economy.

Racing Rewards Breakdown (Per Category)

Each racing category allocates its entire 30% Racing Rewards as follows:

  • 10% → Monthly Elite Main Event

  • 10% → Monthly Muzzle League Leaderboard

  • 10% → End-of-Year Championship Event

All 30% is fully committed to racing rewards.

These allocations apply equally to:

  • Greyhounds

  • Whippets

  • Horses

Public Prize Pool Addresses

All racing rewards in 2026 are funded through public on-chain allocation addresses.

Each reward stream has its own dedicated address where funds accumulate automatically as revenue is generated.

Allocation Addresses

  • Monthly Elite Main Event: [To be published before 1 February 2026]

  • Monthly Muzzle League Leaderboard: [To be published before 1 February 2026]

  • End-of-Year Championship Event: [To be published before 1 February 2026]

Transparency & Payouts

  • Prize pools are always funded before events run

  • Anyone can verify balances at any time

  • Prizes are paid directly from the allocation address

  • Fast, reliable, and provable payouts

Class Structure (All Racing Categories)

All racing categories — Greyhounds, Whippets, and Horses — follow the exact same class structure.

Maiden

  • For winless racers

  • Advance after winning any race:

    • Free race

    • Paid race

    • Tournament race

Group 3

  • At least one career win

  • Fewer than 200 class points

Group 2

  • 200 or more class points

  • Gateway class to elite racing

Group 1 (Elite)

  • The highest level of competition

  • Only accessible by winning a Group 1 Trials event

Group 1 Trials (New for 2026)

This is a complete change from previous seasons.

Group 1 Trials are now Daily Guaranteed Tournaments that run once a week and serve as the primary path into Group 1 racing.

They apply to:

  • Greyhounds

  • Whippets

  • Horses

Format

  • Daily Guaranteed Tournaments

  • Froth entry fee

  • Guaranteed prize pools

  • Identical structure to standard Daily Guaranteed tournaments

Weekly Progression

Each week:

  • 8 Greyhounds progress to Group 1

  • 6 Whippets progress to Group 1

  • 12 Horses progress to Group 1

Qualification Rules

  • Class updates to Group 1 immediately upon qualification

  • No Group 1 points are earned until the next calendar month

  • Relegation protection applies until the next calendar month

Group 1 Relegation (Important Change)

Relegation in 2026 is based on Monthly Elite Main Event performance, not Muzzle League standings.

Relegation Rule

  • Any racer finishing in the bottom 15% of a Monthly Elite Main Event

  • Is relegated back to Group 2

This ensures elite status is defended in headline events, not through grinding allowing easier participation across multiple racing formats.

Muzzle League (Paid Racing Only)

The Muzzle League is the highest level of ongoing competition.

2026 Rule

  • All Muzzle League races are paid races and rake free

  • There is no free racing in the Muzzle League

Paid racing is the only way to:

  • Earn Muzzle League points

  • Climb the Monthly Muzzle League Leaderboard

  • Compete for Muzzle League prize pools

Daily Guaranteed Tournaments

Daily Guaranteed Tournaments remain a core part of racing in 2026.

Prize Pool Mechanics

  • 10% of every entry fee is burned

  • 90% of every entry fee is added to the prize pool

  • Guaranteed minimum prizes apply

  • Prize pools grow with participation

Category Rotation

Daily Guaranteed Tournaments rotate evenly across:

  • Horses

  • Greyhounds

  • Whippets

The rotation is:

  • Daily

  • Equal

  • Predictable

Each category receives the same number of Daily Guaranteed tournaments over the year from 1 February.

Note: Group 1 trial guaranteed tournaments are additional to the regular schedule.
