There are currently three types of NFTs available to use inside Muzzle Run Racing.

Breeders

Breeders are a collection of hounds that allow you to breed (mint) new Racers. There is a finite number of 10,000 Breeders that will ever be available for circulation. There are 107 variations to collect and are distributed randomly based on a rarity percentage. For more information on the benefits of owning a Breeder see

Racers

Racers are a collection of hounds that allow you to train and race to earn Froth and Matic. There is an uncapped supply but it can only enter the ecosystem by being bred by an owner of a Breeder. There are 1424 variations to collect and are distributed randomly based on a rarity percentage. Whippets

Whippets are a collection of hounds that allow you to train and race to earn Froth and Matic. There is an uncapped supply but it can only enter the ecosystem by being bred by an owner of a Breeder. There are 31 variations to collect and are distributed randomly based on a rarity percentage. Each Breeder has a limit of two whippet breeds per month.

Rabbits

Rabbits are a small collection of 10 NFT variations with a different utility inside Muzzle Run. A Rabbit can only be used once during a paid race or tournament and is then burnt.* Rabbits are not burnt during free racing.

  • Gold Rabbits allow you to burn them for 40 utility credits.

  • Silver Rabbits allow you to burn them for 10 utility credits.

  • Bronze Rabbits allow you to burn them for 1 utility credit.

  • All Rabbits also have secret abilities that will help your hound during a Race. Discovering what ability a type of rabbit has and the effect on your hound is a discovery process and one of the layers of skill that will separate winning players from the rest of the pack.

Rabbit Secret Abilities

Rabbits each have a distance preference that changes depending on the hound in which they are played. Effectively when played on a Racer a Rabbit adds a distance preference to that hound for the race in which it is played.

For example, if you have a Racer with a sprinting distance preference, it can run a Marathon (or any other distance) as if that was its distance preference provided you played the correct Rabbit in that race. This is particularly useful in tournaments where you can't choose your race distance.

In addition, every time you play a Rabbit, regardless of the race distance you will receive a speed boost. A Rabbit will only improve the likelihood that a hound will run a faster race, there is no negative effect.

Rabbits are caught (minted) by players every time they complete a training session and are distributed randomly according to a rarity percentage. Rabbit Facts

  • Rabbits distance preference are funnel-based (Sprint, Mid, Stayer, Marathon), not individual distances

  • Every Rabbits distance preference is independent of another. This means that a hound may have multiple rabbits targeting the same distance funnel

  • There is no guarantee that your hound has a rabbit targeting every distance funnel

*Burnt means the NFT is sent to a null address on the blockchain deeming it unusable by anyone and non recoverable.
